Melanie Surprise

Melanie joined Johnston & Associates in 2018 as the Office Manager, after relocating to Tennessee from Northern Virginia.  Prior to J&A, Melanie spent over 18 years as the Practice Manager for Dermatology & MOH’s offices.  Melanie has earned multiple certifications, including Strategic HR Business Partner Certification and was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2021. Melanie is responsible for all HR functions including interviewing, hiring, employee retention, employee evaluations, and conflict resolution.  Melanie grew up in Seoul, Korea, and spends her free time with her husband and 2 children.
